Day 1
Read Mark 4:35-41 and then return to verse 35:
35 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.”
Jesus told his disciples to leave where they were to go somewhere new. As a Christ follower and disciple, there will be times the Lord calls you away with him either figuratively or physically to embark in something new in Him.
Today’s Guided Prayers:
35 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.”
Jesus told his disciples to leave where they were to go somewhere new. As a Christ follower and disciple, there will be times the Lord calls you away with him either figuratively or physically to embark in something new in Him.
Today’s Guided Prayers:
- Welcome God to come in this time and begin by expressing gratitude, praise and worship!
- Like the Disciples, ask the Lord where He wants to take you in these next 21 Days of Prayer? Listen and write down anything you hear or that comes to mind. Don’t edit yourself or second guess. If you’re questioning what you’re hearing, just test the word and keep asking for clarity. If you don’t hear anything, you may already know the answer, or you can just write down places you want to go in Him (i.e. Lord, I want you to reveal yourself in my family, finances, work, unemployment, emotion/spiritual health). Or if you don’t hear anything, it’s okay to wait for the answer.
- Next, ask the Lord where He wants to take Stonecrest Community Church in these next 21 Days of Prayer? Same idea, write down your answer(s) and use this as a guide to lead you personally as you pray for our church. Go back to what you wrote at the end of the 21 Days and see how the Lord showed up!! Feel free to send anything you sense or hear from the Lord throughout the 21 Days to Worship Director, Siobhan Seaman at [email protected]. She will compile the words and share with Staff. This is a great way for us to know what God is revealing to you. These words may confirm what we’re getting as the leadership and may spur us on to seek the Lord more!!
- Listen to "Fall Afresh" by Bethel Music. Meditate on the lyrics, and ask God to bring a fresh awakening of His Spirit into His church and into our lives.
- VBS Prayer Point: Theme- Jesus’ power helps us to do hard things. Key verse is Phil. 4:13. Please pray for the leaders and parents. Pray that God would reveal His power and strength to do the hard things for each child today.
