Day 13 God is Faithful
Day 13: God Is Faithful
Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. - Deuteronomy 7:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. - 1 John 1:9
One of the traits of God is His faithfulness. It is said many times in Scripture that if we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us, demonstrating the faithfulness He has for us. Our faith as believers is
to believe in God’s word and follow it. God’s faithfulness is revealed through His word. It is true and can be trusted.

Suggested Guided Prayer Focuses:
- Father, Your word is true. You are who You say you are. You do everything You say You are going to do in faithfulness because it is Your nature.
- Lord, thank You for being consistent and reliable even when I am not. Faithful You have been, and faithful You continue to be.
Action Steps:
- What areas of your life do you lack faith in God to reveal His promise and faithfulness to you? Think about these things and give them up in surrender to Him during your time of prayer.
- Think about the many times God has been faithful to us even when we don’t notice it. Be reminded that our daily bread, our home, and His gift of eternal life are some of the many ways He has been faithful.
